Richard Riding

Richard Riding began his photographic career in 1962-71 where he was employed as a freelance photographer working for some of the best known names in publishing and popular music in the 60's and 70's.

He began working for EMI and Polydor under contract, taking photographs for record labels as a freelance. As well as being among the first of the early pioneers of the music video scene, Riding's work went unheard of.

Richard started working with Peter J Tisma, IOLogies founder, in the early 2000's when his print company published an art annual that Richard edited. Peter came up with the idea of publishing works that needed a great deal of retouching and restoration and peter's skill is a result of that collaboration. 

Ironically, to date none of the 'pop' side of his work has ever been published. Today, the world sees the work for the first time in these prints and a new, forthcoming book. Richard's work is different. Often haunting, capturing the subject matter in a moment in time and preserving that moment for all eternity on these unique prints. This work also makes an equally excellent investment since all of the works are limited in runs and many of them will never be published again.
