It often intrigues us, to come across works that have been sitting in private collections for some time and the work of EJ Riding and his son, Richard Riding is no exception.

For years, some of the plates and prints had never seen the light of day. Many of them sitting there in such a poor state that they required some major retouching and upgrading with great care and attention by our in-house artist.

A few years ago, our founding director was introduced to a number of works in a private collection that had seen very little in terms of published works; let alone large formats.

A book as well as a series of prints is being prepared with a large coffee table book due to publish soon. The forthcoming work will offer something of an opportunity to see the scope and variety the collection represents for aviation enthusiasts.
