THE ARTIST
René Gruau (1909-2004) was a celebrated French fashion illustrator known for his exceptional talent in capturing the essence of haute couture and elegance. His work is characterized by its minimalistic yet expressive style, often using bold lines and limited color palettes to convey the spirit of fashion and luxury. While Gruau is most famous for his fashion illustrations and collaborations with prestigious fashion houses like Dior and Givenchy, he also created travel posters that exuded the same sense of glamour and sophistication.
