Brian Bysouth

Brian Bysouth was a British artist and designer, born in 1936. Illustrating some of the most iconic film posters ever printed. In a career lasting over forty years he lent his considerable talents to a wide range of design projects, including editorial, storyboards and DVD posters and covers covering hundreds of film titles.

Among some of this best work is that of the Star Trek franchise where he illustrated IOLogies founder; Peter J Tisma’s creations and designs. Notably the artworks for Deep Space Nine and Sea Quest, available on this website as Limited Edition prints. Artworks by this artist have been sold as print-multiples in 1999 at Christie's with the most recent auction result sold in 2022.

Brian Bysouth's work has been offered at auction multiple times, with realized prices ranging up to $10,000 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 2011, the record price for this artist at auction was $10,478 USD for ‘Big Trouble In Little China’, sold at Ewbank's in 2019.
